On February 21, 2017, former mayor, now Assemblyman Amenodin Usodan Sumagayan paid a visit to the Municipal Hall of Taraka together with his staffs all the way from Wao, Lanao del Sur. During his quick visit, he entertained some concerns of the municipal councilors and other visitors of his wife, Hon. Nashiba Gandamra-Sumagayan. This is a manifestation of his undying concern and support to the municipality where he served as a mayor for 9 years.
