In continuation of his top priority activities for his first 100 days, Mayor Atty. Amenodin U. Sumagayan, together with our Municipal Vice Mayor Nashiba U. Gandamra-Sumagayan who is now the chairman of the Committee on Education, Culture, History, Science and Technology, is currently having a meeting with the members of the Taraka Local School Board today, July 20, 2022 at the Conference Room, Taraka Lanao del Sur.

Education is at the heart of our mayor’s governance. Hence, he is taking this chance to gather updates about the learners’ data and educational programs that are being implemented in the municipality in order to propose improvements he and the LSB Members can further include in the LScB Plan to improve the quality of education being provided to the learners in the locality most especially now that the possibility of having face-to-face classes is high.

Other agenda presented by the LSB Secretary Ms. Bainarie M. Datumanong (Bing Datumanong) include the intensification of BLGU support to education and other PPAs contained in the LScB Plan for 2023.
