Mayor Nashiba Gandamra-Sumagayan was in attendance together with the other Local Chief Executives, AFP and PNP officials from other municipalities. Some important dignitaries in the government were also invited as resource speakers for the three-day event. The participants were presented with topics that underscored the importance of their roles in resolving problems to promote positive peace within their areas.

In addition, as this workshop aimed to further capacitate the participants, they were engaged in several activities that allowed them to work interactively and share their own insights to accomplish the tasks given to them which were related to the objectives of this course.
