Earlier this morning, the Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) had its 3rd quarterly meeting today September 26, 2019 at the Municipal Gymnasium, Taraka, Lanao del Sur. This was attended by the chairman of the council, Mayor Nashiba G. Sumagayan, Vice Mayor Atty. Amenodin U. Sumagayan and MLGOO Zenobia P. Hadji Noor.
This was attended by the representatives from LDSPPO PMAJ Buenaventura R. Villesca, PLTCOL Richard Adonis J. Habawel and from the Philippine Military, LT. COL Edgar Allan Villanueva and some of his men.
Some of the topics deliberated in the meeting were the programs initiated by the Taraka MPS which include the Community Engagement in the campaign for anti-illegal drug abuse, the recent road clearing operations, Community Anti- Terrorism activities and other matters regarding the peace and order in the locality.
