JULY 26–Members of the Local Development Council (LDC) are convened for this year’s first LDC Meeting at the Municipal Gymnasium, Taraka Lanao del Sur.

This is presided by Vice Mayor Nashiba U. Gandamra-Sumagayan and attended by other members of the council including the 43 Barangay Chairmen/Chairwomen, CSO Representatives, NGO Representatives, SB Members, Department Heads and other heads of the LGU’s line agencies.

Some of the important agenda being discussed include the status of the implementation of the on-going infrastructure projects in the locality as well as those that had already been completed. These are all presented by MPDC Engr. Bailyn A. Pinote through a powerpoint she prepared.

During the open forum also, other concerns in the locality are likewise raised by other members of the council just like the current flooding in the municipality due to the constant heavy rainfall. Members are discussing remedies that could address the said concerns raised during the said meeting.
