One of the priority programs of the administration of the newly elected Municipal Mayor Hon. Atty. Amenodin U. Sumagayan, Vice Mayor Hon. Nashiba Gandamra-Sumagayan and the Sangguniang Bayan Members is the maintenance of peace and order in the locality. One of which is the settlement of existing Rido (family feud), and today marks an end to one of the existing rido of two known and prominent families in town.
The settlement of this rido does not only marks end to the conflict of the families involved but also a symbol of great leadership of everyone who worked tirelessly and exerted so much effort to put an end to this conflict. It signifies that blood is really thicker than water. It signifies unity. It signifies respect and adherence to the great leaders, sulutans and datus of Taraka.
