At last, the long-awaited event had finally taken place. This year’s 2018 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Awarding Ceremony was conducted on November 07, 2018 in Manila. LGUs that successfully made it on the list of SGLG passers were convened in this remarkable event. Among the attendees were our very own dynamic leaders, Mayor Nashiba Gandamra-Sumagayan and former Mayor, Assemblyman Amenodin U. Sumagayan who proudly represented the Municipality of Taraka.
Indeed, attaining this achievement was never just plain sailing. We had jumped through hoops. Every so often, our driving force would dwindle and made it seem impossible for us to reach the finish line. But, we never gave in. We pulled out all the stops and worked hand in hand until the very end. Now our sacrifices and efforts have finally been paid off with this sweet victory.
With this, we are once again extending our sincerest gratitude to all the people of Taraka and to those who lent their hands in the process. Without your help and support, this certainly would not have been possible. Alhamdulillah and may this stimulate us even further to do our best in the future.
