JAN 05–Mayor Nashiba U. Gandamra Sumagayan gears up the LGU’s defense against COVID-19 as its variant, Omicron, begins to surface and escalate the cases in the whole country.
She convened her team from RHU headed by Dr. Bolawan M. Delawi, response team and all 43 Barangay Chairmen and Chairwomen for a meeting to discuss the status of the vaccination roll-out in the Municipality. This is to ensure that the constituency will not be very well susceptible to the spread of the said variants.
Meanwhile, everyone is encouraged to stay as cautious as possible to avoid nosediving to the worst-case scenario.
