The whole employees, staff, officials and constituents of Taraka joined together for the 5-day Araw ng Taraka Celebration which eventually became a week-long celebration. Among the highlights were the Opening Program, the parlor games, ball games, health summit and the awarding ceremony. The most exciting part of the weeklong celebration were the Barangay Visitation (wherein each barangay have to prepare necessary documents that proves their good governance, the judges in the contest include Auditor Dimaampao, representatives from DILG Lanao del Sur and representative from LGU) and the Open House competition between the Liga ng Barangay, SK Federation, DepEd and RHU.
