Following the meeting with the members of the Civil Society Organizations on August 14, 2019, the Municipal Gender and Development Council also had their meeting on the same day. This time, the meeting was centered on the gist of the updated GAD Code.
Mayor Nashiba Sumagayan and other members of the MGADC looked through the GAD Code and evaluated the activities that are designed in accordance with the objectives of the said code.
In addition, they also made the necessary arrangements for the related programs like providing awareness regarding violence against women and children, smoking and other societal problems.
