In this ceremony, Barangay Chairmen and Employees who have displayed exemplary performances in carrying out their duties and responsibilities during the first semester of this year, were given tokens of appreciation and certificates in recognition of their dedication and hard work. Prior to the Awarding Ceremony, there were series of evaluation and assessment conducted before the selection of the awardees.

Mayor Nashiba U. Gandamra-Sumagayan and Vice Mayor Atty. Amenodin U. Sumagayan threw this award ceremony to recognize Local Officials and Employees who go beyond the call of their duties and to set them as inspirations to their fellows. Further, through this, they hope that the workforce of the Local Government Unit of Taraka will be further strengthened.
