One of the programs of DOH in combatting the further spread of COVID 19 is thru vaccination and its booster with the aim of reaching herd community and assuring a healthier and safe community against the virus.
The LGU of Taraka, thru the Local Health Board chaired by Mayor Hon. Atty. Amenodin U. Sumagayan with the Vice Chairman of the board, Dra. Bolawan M. Delawi have been very supportive in the programs of the DOH in line with the COVID 19 and on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 they have welcomed the LGU officials, employees, staff and the whole constituents to the launching of the PinasLakas. The Mayor and Vice Mayor Hon. Nashiba Gandamra-Sumagayan spearheaded the launching and got their second boosters.
During the launching, hygiene kits were distributed to those who availed boosters (first or second) sponsored by the LGU thru the LHB.
The LGU and RHU is inviting everyone to have their COVID 19 first or second boosters as study shows that the vaccines are effective and safe shield against the COVID 19 virus.
